MyPath

MyPath is an individualized self-paced credit recovery program designed to remove barriers to graduation for over-age and/or under-credited students. This program is accessible for Jeffco students across the district on a referral basis from the home school.  Priority will be given to juniors and seniors with IEPs in need of significant support (mental health, social emotional, academic, environmental, etc.) to graduate on time.

MyPath will partner with home schools to develop a plan for where and when to access the coursework.  In person attendance is available for half day sessions at the Sobesky Academy building.  MyPath does not provide special education services nor is it a way to access Sobesky Academy special education services.

Potential students are referred by their home school, and space is very limited. As a guideline, juniors with 8 - 11 credits and seniors with 11 - 17 credits will have a realistic opportunity to graduate in a timely manner if they fully participate in the MyPath program.  We also work to support students beyond their senior year up to age 21 to earn their regular diploma.  In addition to credit deficiencies, home schools must show documentation that attempts have been made to meet student needs through intensive individualized building supports.

REFERRALS CAN ONLY BE MADE BY SCHOOL PERSONNEL.  Please refer to the following FAQ documents for further information.
